Today I had a conversation with my buddy about my opinion about if New Zealand should change their flag. I used reasons to back up my opinion when talking with my buddy. Homework: Cars

This week Juanita chose our topic of cars as our homework for the week. I found a lot of interesting facts about cars. In this presentation there are facts about its history and parts of the car that keep the car moving.

XtraMath

Today I practiced my basic facts on XtraMath. As you can see I got 41 in a row at race the teacher. I reckon Next time I could practice more on getting faster and reacting faster.

Maori Pioneer Battalion Collage

I made this collage using Fotor. It reflects on the Maori pioneers journey when they were sent into war and around the world. They did a lot for New Zealand. They were known to be the best bayonet fighters ever because of their strength.

Maori Contingent Calling Poster

Today I made a poster based of posters that were used in World War 1 to encouraged the Maori to come forward and participate in war. Most of the poster is in Maori, because not much Maori knew how to read or speak English.

We found out about how animals were used in World War 1 and what their role was. There are a lot of interesting facts in this presentation. It was our first time using emaze and we did really good.

How the Eye Works?

This week we started a new way of doing homework. This new way was funner and more interesting. How it works is we had to pick a random topic from a box. Then whatever topic comes out the box is chosen to be our topic for the week and will be presented on Friday. This weeks topic was "How the human eye works." I found a lot of information about the human eye.

XtraMath Results

Today I have done XtraMath. It is a site that helps you to learn your basic facts quick. I have did this last year and is glad to do it again this year. You can see I am on subtraction. I am starting to get back to doing it daily.

Te Reo Maths

Today we learnt how to add Maori numbers to together. We played a game that gives you two numbers in Maori and you have to add them, then click on the answer. It was very challenging because I knew how to add in English but I got confused when doing it in Maori. It is a very fun and helpful game.
