Bias

In reading, we were talking about the word "Bias," and what it means. We were given two examples of what bias means and how it's used. Bias is when someone is only judging a story from the one point of view. This means that if you are telling someone about say a fight, then you are only telling what happen from what you had seen or heard from one persons side of the story. In one of our examples we were given an article on how cellphones should be prohibited from using in vehicles. Now in this text it says all that reasons we should not use cellphones in cars, but what about the other side of the story? Is there any reasons we should be allowed?

Prefix Word Wall: Sub

Today we were introduced to SPAG's(Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar). SPAG's is when we work on our spelling, punctuation and grammar so that we can work on the areas that we need help on. For today's activity, we looked the the prefix,"sub," and the meaning of it when we use it in words and sentences. In this Google Drawing we made a word wall which is when we put in all the words with the prefix sub meaning under or below. As we were putting these words in, our whole group had to understand what each word meant.
