The Interactive Drum Show

Yesterday the whole of Panmure Bridge gathered in the hall to see the Interactive Drum Show. Inside the hall there were hundreds of drums on the floor .The noise of the rhythm was so loud it it sounded like it was as loud as a gun shot and even louder. The beat of everyone banging on theirs drums was like a huge parade. It was awesome at the interactive drum show.

The Botanical Gardens

On Tuesday The seniors went to the Botanical Gardens. Everyone was ready to see the all kinds of plants learn new things. My favourite part of the trip was when we went into the forest. As we got to the entrance of the forest one of the ladies that worked at the Botanical Gardens was there to give us a tour of the garden. Her name was Sarah. We were going to do an activity in the forest. First at the entrance we got told that if we were really quite we could be able to spot a fantail or a kereru. Later on as we were walking we paired up and each got a mirror. The challenge was to try and look up at the different shapes of leaves through the mirror. There was lots of different shapes in the leaves. We stopped again. We each got a magnifying glass. The next challenge was to try and find invertebrates. Lots of people found some and used their magnifying glass to look up close at it. I really liked looking at the invertebrates. We saw and learnt a lot of things at the Botanical Gardens.

Kiwi Kids News Quiz June

Here is my score on the kiwi kids news quiz. I got 100% because I read most of the articles on the  kiwi kids news site.

Learning about There/Their and They're

If you are always getting confused with the words there/their and they're. Just remember if it says "there" in a sentence then it is talking about a place like "The books are over there." Now the word "their" is used when something is belonging to someone like "That's their skateboard." The last word "they're" is short for they are so you can say it in a sentence like "They're the most delicious biscuits. Now you know the differences between there/their and they're.

My XtraMath Results
