Today we had our first hockey session with the hockey instructors. In our first session we were learning to grip the hockey stick properly, and how to control the ball using techniques. We learnt how to keep the stick close to the ball like magnet. We then played a game about traffic lights that had to do with the colours and what they mean. In that game we learnt to dribble the ball and bring it to a full stop. After that we were given a challenge by the instructors to try and bounce the ball in the flat end of the hockey stick for the longest time. In the end we played a game of hockey which was different because there were different amount of players called out to score a goal. Thanks to the hockey instructors for the tips and fun session of hockey.
